Blowing out her candles
Ava's favorite gift
Ava turned three last Saturday. Where has the time gone? I still think of her as my sweet little baby, I always will. I had the whole day planned of what needed to be done. I had an interview at 1:45 and didn't get out until 3:00, way longer than I expected. I had to run into Lethbridge to pick up the cake. We get our cakes from Edible Elegance, they will make anything you ask for. I know lots of mom's out there make their own but I like to buy thank you very much. I then had to run to Wal-mart to get her gift, I know last minute. I knew what I was going to buy already so I just had to pick it up. Then the pop, ice cream and chips. It was getting late by this time, people were coming over at 7:00pm. I still had to mop the floor, I was stressing. I knew I was running behind schedule but then a little growl hit the tummy. I was driving and I noticed the new Wendy's, I had to stop. A spicy chicken sandwhich, fries and a coke later I was on my way home. I walked in the door to a clean house but two dirty children. I popped them in the tub, cleaned the little angels and popped them out. We were cutting it close at this time but I knew it was alright. I got them dressed, did their hair and we were ready. People started to show up just as we were finishing the decorating. It was the first year I had both sides of the family together. I don't know why, I guess it seemed easier. There was a lot of people here but it was fun. We just ate cake and ice cream, opened presents and visited. The kids ran around and made lots of noise. Ava had a great time, she loves playing with family and friends. One down, one to go. Little Jaxen turns one in March..........
